During this time in China Oley became certified by the World Health Organization in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

During treatment Oley utilizes methods of diagnosis and treatment from the various traditions of Oriental Medicine that he has been trained in including Eight Principle, Five Element, Shiatsu, and Qi Gong therapies.

He believes that the limits to what can be treated by Oriental Medicine exist in the practitioner and not in the medicine itself. The process of healing is a journey that leads the individual back to their original nature with balanced functioning throughout the body mind and spirit.
